On Saturday June 18th, 2011 the biggest wakeboard and wakeskate event of all times takes place at the legendary stadium pool in Cologne/Germany. The best boat and cable riders of the world battle for the world champion title and $30,000 in prize money.

Shawn Watson, Shane Bonifay, Nico von Lerchenfeld und Kevin Henshaw will chase the previous years winner Raph Derome through the gnarliest obstacle setup that UNIT Parktech has ever built. The admission is free for the first 6.000 spectators. Those who dont wanna stand behind closed doors can get a VIP-ticket and receive access to the UNIT Parktech Signature Lounge. In the Lounge area you can get Relentless Energy Drinks and a meal for free.

From there you also have the best view of the second gap and the end section. Secure one of the 200 limited tickets now and chill with riders and special guests such as Scott Byerly, Pat Panakos and Parks Bonifay while listening to the beats by Famous Deck Team.

X Games To Double Number Of Events In 2013

Beginning in 2013 the X Games, the world's largest action sports competition, will expand from three annual events to six, ESPN announced Tuesday, with four of the events to be held outside the U.S. as organizers seek a stronger global foothold for the franchise, now in its 17th year.

Currently, X Games events are held in Los Angeles during the summer and in Aspen, Colo., and Tignes, France, during the winter. Under the new plan, called Global X, four events will be held outside the U.S. ESPN will hold a competitive bidding process beginning in 2012 to select the three new locations, which will be signed to three-year agreements and work with ESPN to stage the events.

Camp participants can choose from one, three, and five day camp packages inclusive of lift ticket, coaching and lunch. Nyjah Huston Wins The First Stop Of Street League 2011 In Seattle! Wow, what a great start to the 2011 Street League DC Pro Tour Fueled by Monster Energy! Thousands of fans came out for the hyped up event to check out the world's best skateboarders competing for $150,000 and being advanced to the finals in Salt Lake City. Nyjah edged out runner up Shane O'Neill and Chaz Ortiz for top of the podium. Nyjah also won the Monster Energy Best Trick Award and another $15k. What a great weekend for skateboarding, Seattle and thanks again DC for putting on such a great show! Next stop will be in Kansas City, MO!
